Some passengers will ask if they can vape in your Lyft or Uber car. Would you let them?
In my experience, passengers asking to vape are usually going for five-minute rides, which seems ridiculous that they can’t wait until they get out.
Anyhow, it’s a hard no for me. Also no for cigarettes, joints, bongs, cigars, etc.
I don’t want any extra smells in my car since I already have to manage some stinks that come through.
Also, I don’t know if they are vaping weed or whatever. No smoking, as well as no drinking alcohol (do you want a misdemeanor for some passenger with an open container?).
And if they don’t ask and just start vaping they are getting kicked out of my vehicle.
Since this can sometimes get confrontational, it’s another good reason to have a dash cam.
